Christian was a lion purchased in 1969 by two Australians living in London, Rendall and Bourke from Harrods department store. After Christian (the lion!) had been in Kenya a year, Rendall and Bourke returned and visited their former pet. The animal recognized them, reared up, grasped and nuzzled both Randell and Bourke. Have you wondered if it's possible for a brillant hacker, after commiting crimes costing millions around the world, is able to get a job from the police? I've always thought that it is possible and is happening around the world, but never publicity disclosed.

Arriving separately in the park, they are both surprised to discover that it is a huge area and consequently they cannot find one another. Can you believe it? Amazon was actually fine for providing free shipping in France. I was absolutely shocked when I came across this news. “France would be the only country in the world where the free delivery practiced by Amazon would be declared illegal,” Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos wrote to French customers in a recent e-mail.

The problem lies not French consumers, but with a union. A French booksellers’ union took Amazon to court for its practices, claiming free shipping violated the 1981 Lang Law, which sets minimum prices that retailers can charge for books. (Read more...)
