Pixar first animated short film in 1984. Just watch too see how good it is!

The animation on the feature was truly groundbreaking at the time, featuring the first use of motion blur in CG animation.

I came across this video on http://www.Digg.com. It was one of the most talked about video there and I popped by to check out just what the fus was all about. I mean animated short firlm made in 1984 can
t be that great right? yes?

Just a little background so that we can appreciate the film you are about to see more. Back in 1984, I was just a baby crawling on the floor, perhaps watching 2D flat cartoons showing on TV. Back then, nobody talked about animated films, maybe that started in the 1990s. (Read more...)

Amazon FINE for providing FREE SHIPPING!

Can you believe it? Amazon was actually fine for providing free shipping in France. I was absolutely shocked when I came across this news. “France would be the only country in the world where the free delivery practiced by Amazon would be declared illegal,” Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos wrote to French customers in a recent e-mail.

The problem lies not French consumers, but with a union. A French booksellers’ union took Amazon to court for its practices, claiming free shipping violated the 1981 Lang Law, which sets minimum prices that retailers can charge for books. (Read more...)
